Mutual Reflections

Mutual Reflections is a collective processing of my experience in the music department at Brown University. It features many music makers that I have had the gift of performing with and learning from. Through curating and editing recordings of my peers’ work, I hope to challenge ideas of form and genre, and collaborate with my peers across these ideas as I have in my experience performing orchestral, choral, jazz, electronic, and other musics during my time at Brown. Mutual Reflections created a space for several recorded improvisatory sessions with student musicians and documented those sessions, incorporating creative processing, time-shaping, and imagining analogous connections into the compilation of recordings using Ableton Live.
